Dear Mickey and family,
I’m so sorry for your pain and sadness; it’s hard to lose a sibling, no matter how it comes. I know you loved Susan, and continue to love her, and I have no doubt you have given her the most loving care anyone could ever hope to have received while on this Earth. Take solace in that. I hope your memories of Susan, including those of all of you growing up together in that house on Sampson Street may bring you some joy and comfort at this time. All my condolences to your entire family.

Dear Carrol family,
Susan and I were best friends in grade school and high school. I spent so much time at your home on Sampson street. Since we all attended St. John’s church, the Carroll family and the Burke family were well known because there were so many of us! Susan was always such a faithful and loyal friend. I was so sad to hear of her passing. The Carroll family was a loving family so I am sure she was blessed right up to the end with the love and support of all. Betty and Chris forged a family bond that could not be broken. I am sure they were there to welcome her to heaven.
