i’am Bob Burnell friend and former co-worker of Bob Houts. i hold countless good memoeries of Bob from time on the job or out hunting events. He was always there for me as the time i move away from Butte to Spokane Washington he loaded his pickup and followed me to my new home in Spokane. i never saw him back down from anything but he was a little scared the day he got his new 1973 red pickup stuck up at granite moutain west of melrose mt. a passer bye help us pull Bob’s truck off a boulder. we snapped the chain and rope 3 times. it was so bad one flip and its was a mile to the bottom of the canyon. One other time Bob crashed his motorcycle in front of the dairy qween on harrison ave. and he told me he was looking at some cute girls walking down the street and there was a car stopped in front of him making a left to the dairy qween. Bob said he layed the bike down and all he saw was the gas tank going under the car. talk about road rash lol until we meet again buddy always in my thoughts Bob Burnell

We are so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. We met him at White Sandy Campground and could not believe how friendly he was to each camper and what a great host he was. We followed him to Riverside and played cribbage and visited about fishing each time we went and camped. He will be missed by all of the people he came in contact with. Our deepest sympathy to his family.
