Paul and I were best of friends growing up just a few weeks apart in age, living a few houses away, we were at times inseparable, friends for life, and I’m a better person for knowing him! I visited him recently and we spoke of our friendship and our love, and he will always have a special place in my heart!

I first met Paul at Grant School in 6th grade where we grew up on the east side, then later went to high school together. After college I hooked up with him again when he bartended at the New Deal and kept in touch till I moved to Texas. He was quite the character. I heard he had some health problems recently.
Paul, thanks for all the childhood memories and all the goofy times at the New Deal. You will be missed. Rest in Peace!
