oh, I am so very sad to read of Mary’s passing. I met her when I moved up into Walker Ville and attended the Blaine school. She just lived across the field from me. Unfortunately in Junior high my family moved back down on the flats and I didn’t see her much even in high school. I am just so sorry to hear of her passing. Rest in peace, friend.

I am saddened to hear this news. Mary was an LPN and we worked many years at the Butte Convalescent Center. Mary had a great scenes of humor and a heart that was perfect for her Nursing. She worked on B wing and one year dressed as a bee on Halloween. She said she was the bee wing Nurse. She had a sincere empathy for her patients and others. She did crafts and helped our Craft group make angel ornaments. This was over 25 years ago and I still hang them on my tree today. The world has lost a beautiful human being. Rest easy my friend- see you on the other side. ♥️🌹🙏

There’s no greater sadness than losing a friend or loved one. Mary Linn may be gone but her memory will live on forever. She left a mark on this world that won’t be forgotten. She touched the lives of so many with her kindness and generosity. Words can’t express how much she will be missed. Goodbye my friend.

I knew Mary Linn from Assembly of God church and then Highlands College. She was always so kind and helpful and always had a story to tell and a smile on her face. She understood Algebra like no other and was an amazing tutor and teacher. I was very sad to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family and friends.

If all the neighborhoods and Butte had a Marilyn Horton in them, they would’ve been truly blessed In.
Centerville was one of the blessed neighborhoods –&
My family was double blessed to know her and have her help with my grandparents.
You could be having the worst day and just have her speak to you and all would be well with your world.
As she got sicker as time went, I had the privilege of talking to her a couple times and told her one thing
Stay” Centerville tough”
She did right up until the time God called her home.
What a legacy you left Marilyn
We all love and miss you very much
Your Centerville sister

Mary Lynn was a truly wonderful person. I met her at the Highlands College when I was going to school there, and she took all my notes for me especially in in accounting, psychology, and other classes as I have a learning disability. She was a true angel on this Earth, she did a lot of good for people including me. When I met Mary Lynn she was a godsend because she was willing to take my notes. And she had a photographic memory. I also used her for tutoring. What a wonderful person, she left her mark on this world. If it hadn’t been for her, I would have never gotten through college. Thank you Mary Lynn and I’ll see you on the other side. When you were in the hospital, I just happened to see you and we had a good time visiting, and I brought you a cup of coffee that you liked. Rest easy I’ll see you on the other side.
