The gates of Heaven were opened on April 16, 2024 and Carole was welcomed into the loving arms of her husband Tom. Her given name was Mary Carole, however she went by and preferred to be Carole with an “e” as she always said.
Carole was born in Anaconda, Montana on August 3, 1940, growing up in a loving family with her parents Mike and Ann Poli and sisters, Marlene and Christine. Carole graduated from Anaconda Senior High School in 1958. She later met the love of her life Tom Brebrick, they were married on September 1, 1972, this union joined together five children.
Carole was known as the insurance lady and began her lifelong career working for local agencies before starting her long career with Blue Cross Blue Shield. She worked forty plus years in the insurance industry before retiring. Carole was the first female insurance agent in the state of Montana which she honored and was proud of. During her career, Carole earned various awards and top honors, meeting many friends who she continued to have until her passing. There was not a friend she didn’t treasure, support or lend her ear to. She was a very giving person to everyone, making them all feel special. Carole was extremely proud of her faith and her Italian heritage.
Carole and Tom enjoyed traveling, especially their trip to Europe. She enjoyed her time at the family’s summer homes at Echo and Georgetown lakes. She also enjoyed holidays playing the piano, dancing, and entertaining, and she loved sharing birthday parties with her daughter Gayle. These were always special to her, after which she looked forward to her son, Jim’s, birthday two weeks later.
Carole was always a classy lady and was known for her matching outfits and pristine looks, as only a mom called “Auntie Boots” could do.
Carole’s number one reason for living was her children whom she loved with all her heart giving and doing everything she could for them.
Carole is survived by her children, Gayle (Mike) Stanley, Jim Bubash Jr., Pat (Carolyn) Brebrick, Linda Charanza, and bonus daughter, Dona Simmons; grandchildren, Dana, Erin, Nicole, and Jared; great-grandchildren, Caspian, Hunter, Janessa, Slade, and Weston; special friends, Isabelle Martelli and Maryanne Riley; nieces Leah (Frank) Moreni and family and Julie Shelton and family; nephew Keith Massey; brother-in-law Larry Massey; and numerous other family members.
