Evon was like a second Mom to me. She was incredibly creative and talented as an artist, cook, and all around hobbyist. She gave generously of her time and talents to many of Buttes’ community organizations and could always be counted on when the chips were down and a ” getter done” attitude was needed. Evon was ” Old Butte” in the best of all the ways and meanings. She will be greatly missed by all those that loved her, but I am grateful she is now at peace with the Lord.

Vic I was so sad to see of evon passing You guys and my mom and dad were such good friends My mom used to tell me about all the animals Evon had especially the fainting goats. All those animals and her house was always spotlessWhen you came to my house after my mom passed Evon and I took the flowers to the nursing home and the reidents accused us of stealing them! She also said that when she went she wanted to be crematedand piured into a Barbie doll so she could be tall and skinny. She will be missed by all of us
