Kimberly “Kim” Marie Roberts
On the evening of November 9, 2024, Kim passed away at the St. Patrick’s Hospital in Missoula, Montana as a result of battling some unexpected health problems. Kim was surrounded by loved ones and passed peacefully at the age of 47.
Kim was born here in Butte to Frank and Barb Peck on June 24, 1977. She was the first daughter and middle child.
At a young age Kim became obsessed with Disney and Garth Brooks, she had every Disney movie made on VHS and every album and collection Garth Brooks put out. She filled the house with pictures of family and Disney snow globes.
After marrying the love of her life, Cole, she travelled as an amazing military spouse, she went to Texas, Hawaii, Alaska, and Colorado, with Alaska being her favorite. Butte was always home so she returned in 2012 where family and friends were the most important thing to her. There was no one that met her that did not like her.
Kim was preceded in death by her nephew, KJ Peck; mother-in-law, Naomi Alley; brother, Keith Peck; father, Frank Peck; and aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
Kim is survived by her husband, Cole Roberts; mom, Barb Peck; Sister, Monica Peck; daughter, Onna Vargas-Chavez (Servando); son, Brady Roberts (Jaylene); and her most important, grandkids, Sophia, Kayson, Haven, Mateo, and AmberLee; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Special thanks to Deanna, Stormy, and Josh for your extra and above help and support.

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that you’re gone, cousin. You’ve always been there, a constant light in our lives, and now Heaven has gained an angel, though we’re left with a deep emptiness where your laughter and love once filled.
Who am I going to make short jokes to now? I’ll miss that smile, the sound of your laugh, and even those playful threats to put me in my place.
My heart goes out to Cole, Brady, Onna, Servando, Jaylene, sweet baby Ellie, Monica, Barb, and all those beautiful grandkids you adored so much. I can’t imagine the weight of the loss you’re all feeling. Hugs, love, and prayers for peace and healing as we each try to find our way through this.

I am so sorry once again for your loss. This is so unfair once again another one taken from you all way too soon. They must be having one big party in Heaven that they needed Kim up there for. She was the life of every gathering, and her smile and laugh would lighten any situation. I didn’t know her all too well until we met at the hockey rink and then I meet the real class of who she was and the love she could give everyone around her. She always made me laugh. She will be sorely missed. Cole my heart hurts for you the most because I know your sidekick is gone from your side in person form, but she will be there always to kick you if you get out of line don’ t you worry. She is always going to be with you always and forever. RIP Kim we will all miss you.
