Surviving relatives include his loving wife, of 60 years Anita; son, Mark (Shonda); daughter Monika (Doug); grandchildren, Brandon (Chloe), Mikayla (Sean) and Josh (Ciera); two great granddaughters, with another due in September and another great grandchild due near his birthday in February. Jack was the best Wildlife Biologist I have ever known. He was honest, straight-forward, and always had a good idea of
what was right and wrong. He and I did much field work and aerial big game surveys together when I was the f&g biologist
at Havre. Jack will be missed and his family deserves our gratitude for his care these last few years.

A sweet and interesting man, great friend and family man – Jack will be sorely missed. I loved listening to him shoot the breeze with my late husband Larry, and my 2 boys Brent and Neil. I know Jack will rest in peace, near Mike for now…
