Edward “Eddie” Brian Hastie went home into the loving arms of his beloved grandparents and our Lord and Savior on October 24, 2021.
Born to Ruth Gill and Edward Hastie on May 18th 1983, Eddie was loved and cared for by his grandparents Ellen and Nap Montoya with the help of his aunt Karla Hart throughout his life. Though he had many physical and mental disabilities he had so much life and love in his eyes. He brought immense joy to those who had the opportunity to know and love him and was believed to be a true angel. When his grandparents became too old and physically unable to care for him he moved in with his aunt Karla. She cared for him full time with the help of her children Rachal Pollock, Beau Hart, and Cyrus Montoya. Early on Eddie was given a short life expectancy of only until his early teens, but with the love and tender care of his family he lived much much longer. Though our hearts are heavy with his loss he is finally free from all limitations and barriers of this Earth. He is truly free.
