So sorry for the loss of Dave. He was a good guy. I enjoyed our visits with him when he stopped in pocatello. Brian really missed him, as well. Heard all sorts of stories.

When I think of Dave, I think in terms of superlatives; these words seem to have been invented to describe Dave: Toughest fighter, Strongest in the gym, Bravest behind the throttle, Prettiest girlfriends, Happiest partyer, Most loyal friend, Most vivid and animated storyteller, craziest-smart friend (JR).
I was Larry’s age, younger than Dave and Bill but duly impressed by them both. Bill would build it and tune it, and Dave would drive it. Corvettes, motorcycles, drag boats, anything with headers and horsepower. The Thomas’s always made our lives on North Montana St richer: it continues today with Jack and his gifted progeny. Dave had many superlatives while most of us might only have one, but we were the luckiest neighborhood because of Dave and the Thomas’s. We can’t make the memorial on the Fourth because of a prior commitment but Helen and I send our love.
