William “Bill” LeRoy Barnicoat, Age 66, of Butte

May 10, 1957 – May 6, 2024

William “Bill” LeRoy Barnicoat, 66, passed away Monday, May 6th, 2024, at St. James Hospital after a massive stroke.  Bill was born May 10th, 1957, to Thomas Edward Barnicoat and Audrey Irene Maffei Barnicoat.

Bill married Triska Janik in 1975.  From that marriage son Thomas Barnicoat and daughter Brandy Barnicoat Reed were born.

Bill was passionate about many things.  He had an extreme love for animals of all kinds.  He also had a love for music and motorcycles.  Bill was a caring man.  He would always stop what he was doing to help someone out and believed that paying it forward was one of the best ways to live.      One of his life’s mottos was “Don’t sweat the small stuff and it is all small stuff”.

He was proceeded in death by his father, mother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother John Barnicoat, brother-in-law Bob Blewett, and sister-in-law Laurie Barnicoat.

Surviving relatives are his wife, Triska Barnicoat; son, Tom Barnicoat; daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Dennis Reed; grandsons, Tommy, Michael, and James Millsap, Dylan Campbell; great-grandson, Casper Hernandez; step grandchildren, Ean and Blakeleigh Reed;  sisters, Carol Blewett and Judy Beiser; brothers, Tom and Ron Barnicoat; brother and sister-in-law, Helen and Jim Joyce; and multiple nephews and nieces, and best friend, Don Stucin.

    My heart goes out to Teresa and the entire family Billy was very good guy and a great neighbor he helped my grandparents out in many ways and they could always rely on and count on him he will be sadly missed by so many especially his family like Billy said Pay It Forward is the best thing in life my thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family
