Vickie Mae Bellon, age 65, of Anaconda, MT passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020 unexpectedly but surrounded by family.
Vickie was born on December 8, 1954 to Charles and Virginia Wright. She was the youngest in the family of four children. She was the baby sister to three older brothers.
She attended Anaconda Senior High where she met Luther – he quickly stole her heart. They were inseparable for over 50 years and had recently celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary.
Together they welcomed their daughter, Carla. Vickie took pride in making school treats and hand making all of Carla’s Halloween costumes.
Prior to her retirement, she is most notably remembered for waitressing at the Embassy and the Copper Bowl. She loved her customers as much as they loved her. Many customers could be found staying for hours after a meal to enjoy coffee and conversation with Vickie.
Vickie’s passion was always for her family and her home. When you stopped over for a visit you were always greeted with a smile, a cup of coffee and her opinion. You left knowing you always had a friend in Vickie and valued her honesty.
Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Virginia Wright. The love of her life, Luther, passed away earlier this month. Although their bond was separated for a very short time, they have now been reunited.
Vicki is survived by her daughter, Carla (George) Strutzel; grandson, Aric Strutzel; brothers, Charles (Bob) Wright, Jeff (Joanne) Wright, David (Jeanne) Wright; numerous family and countless friends.
At Vickie’s request, no services will be held. Vickie Bellon, age 65, of Anaconda, Montana passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. Services are pending and will be announced when arrangements are complete.

Carla, we feel so blessed to have been friends with Vickie and Luther. They immediately welcome us and our German shorthair pups into the neighborhood and their lives. Tom and Luther shared the same birthday and always were sharing the worlds events.
I will remember always Vickie’s advice to me . We were always the ones moving the grass and we discussed this a lot. I remember falling off the ladder while painting saying the four letter word to the surprise of your parents laughing at me across the street. We are so sad by their passing and we will miss their smiles and our visits. We loved them so! Our hearts and love to you Carla!❤️
