Dear Cam, Jeff and Lee,
What a beautiful photo of your mom! When you first arrived in Butte, I know my mom liked “Red” a lot right away. We had so much fun that first summer with me and Cam, and our younger sibs Walt, Dennis, Jeff and Jill. Later I sat at many baseball games with her when Cam was the catcher, and she patiently taught me so much about baseball, so much so, that when we moved to Seattle I actually knew a little something about the game! Those were some very special times. She was always very good to me, and I’ll never forget her.
Sending sympathy to you all and appreciation for the good times-
Pat, Walt, and Denny
DON ROACH says
Dear Balentine Family,
Peace be with Twilla or “Red” as we knew her. We spoke with her every other week or so by phone. Our friendship began when in 1970 when Don worked for Pablo in Butte. Our friendship continued over the years as we moved from Albuquerque to Alaska and back to Albuquerque. That includes a winter in Phoenix when they were in Scottsdale. They were very special people in our lives. We will miss them dearly.
