We have countless stories of good times with Terry (and Alice too). There are new words in the english language because of him. He will remain a cherished friend

Terry was a member of the Riverdale HS class of 1959, St. Joe, IN. A man of few words then, but open to anyone who cared enough to reach out. Unfortunately, few did and he wasn’t one to initiate a conversation. Ours was a small class so it wasn’t difficult to keep in touch with most after graduation and fortunately we had an organizer that cared enough and willing to exert the time and effort to establish a 5-year reunion plan beginning about 10 years after graduation. Terry responded once or twice to invitations with a short note. Some indifference to reunions isn’t unusual but I wanted to know more about his western life experience particularly because I didn’t take the opportunity to get to know him in high school and I think I and his remaining classmates are lesser for it. It seems he lived a quiet, private life in the mountains where he had always wanted to be. We very much appreciate Alice, she kept us informed during his last years.
