Susan Kay Brint, 65, Butte, MT passed away on February 24, 2020 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Sue was born to John and Olive Sarsfield on February 3, 1955 in Moses Lake, WA. She graduated from Butte High School in 1972.
Sue married the love of her life, Stephen Brint on September 24, 1977 in Great Falls, MT. Her children and grandchildren and even her great-grandchildren were the pride and joy of Sue’s life. Sue was always there to brighten the lives of others, and often was considered a second mother to so many. She enjoyed spending summers outdoors gardening, camping, and fishing. Sue had an artistic expression. Writing Poetry and a way of working with her hands and creating beautiful works of art out of nothing.
Sue was considered a jack-of-all-trades when it came to her profession. There was nothing she couldn’t do. She spent most of her life raising children and grandchildren. When she was not caring for children; She was running the H bar J in Wise River, MT, Bartending at Dano’s Bar, Even travelling to Ekuk, Alaska during the salmon season to work for a canning company with her husband.
Sue is survived by her son, Steven Rule, siblings, Sheri Heschke of Cheyenne, WY, Mike Sarsfield of Butte, MT, grandchildren, Kayla (Luke) Schnabel of Kalispell, MT, Rylee and Madison Johnson, Lily, Will, Haley, and Callie Ahlborn, and great-grandchildren, Onyx, Aubrey, and Cambria Schnabel, Jacklyn Thompson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Olive Sarsfield; husband, Stephen Brint; daughter, Christie Johnson; and brother Chuck Weeks.
