    To the family of Sherrie,
First I would like to say how truly sorry I am that you are all having to go through such a terrible loss of such an amazing person who still had so much more life to live. I had the privilege of meeting Brooke this summer and I am so glad I did. She is such an awesome young lady. I am lucky enough to have had Sherrie as my very first friend. I lived next door to her grandma Mary. Whenever Sherrie would come to visit I would either be over there or she would be at my house. Then she moved just a few blocks away and we were then inseparable. The one thing that makes me smile is remembering the shows we used to put on in Sherrie’s back yard and charge the neighbors to come and listen us sing. Yesterday out of nowhere the song Joy to the World by Three Dog Night, not the Christmas one, came on the radio. I got chills. I think my friend was with me at that moment. For all of us lucky enough to have had her in some part of our lives, no matter if it was for her whole life, different times of her life, or just a very short time, If you got her to smile that smile of hers you will never ever forget it. We are the lucky ones. Keep her memory alive by telling her stories. Hugs to you all.

    Marcia Secord
