Sharon Lee St. Pierre, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 13, 2025 in Butte, MT. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sharon was born on July 29, 1948 in Butte, MT to John and Lois May. She was raised in Butte and graduated from Butte High School. She then went on to the Butte Academy of Beauty and pursued a career as a beautician for many years.
On November 9, 1968, Sharon married the love of her life, Dave St. Pierre, and together they built a beautiful life, raising three children. Her greatest happiness came from her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Sharon was a fierce protector of her family, always standing by their side through their life’s challenges. No matter the situation, they could always count on her to be there offering love, guidance, and unwavering support. She would move mountains for those she loved, ensuring they they never faced anything alone.
Deeply inquisitive, she had a natural curiosity about people and the world around her. She loved to travel and meet new people. Her kind and open nature made it easy to connect with others, and she was always eager to listen to their stories. A natural counselor, she had a gift for offering wisdom and guidance, always willing to lend an ear and share heartfelt advice. One of her unique hobbies was reading tarot cards, and for a time, she offered readings to those seeking insight and clarity. Her intuitive nature and deep understanding of people made her readings special, and she took great joy in helping others find direction through them.
Sharon is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Dave St. Pierre; children, Julie St. Pierre-Heimark, Corey St. Pierre (Melinda), Candace St. Pierre (Kevin Rangitsch); grandchildren, Ben Heimark, Brooke Heimark, Chase St. Pierre, Conner St. Pierre, Caleigh Mullaney (Jared Haran), Wyatt Mullaney; and great grandchild, Wilder Haran; siblings, Vonnie May and John May (Irene); sisters in law Carol May and Liane May and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers William “Jiggs” May and Charlie May and nephew John Duane May.
