Sandra Katherine Tompkins (Selensky), age 64, of Anaconda, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully in her home on September 4, 2022. Sandy was born on April 1, 1958, to Bernadine and Raymond Selensky, and was the middle of three daughters. She graduated from Anaconda High School in 1976, then went on to attend nursing school at MT Tech in Butte. Once she graduated from nursing school she began doing what she loved. She excelled at everything she did, but she always cherished being able to help others.
She was the sweetest, most caring, loving, and hilarious individual, who touched the hearts of anyone who was blessed to have known her. She had a beauty and presence about her, unmatched by any other. She adored her two daughters tremendously, but what she truly loved were her grandbabies, or her “little monkeys.” No matter what she was going through, they could always bring a smile to her face and a joy to her heart.
She was an incredible mom, who taught us how to love, laugh and appreciate every moment we have on this earth. She always had a hug to give, a joke to tell, or a funny memory to share, and will forever be missed!
Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Bernie and Ray. She is survived by her two sisters Cindy Selensky, and Sherry (Chuck) Sturm. Her oldest daughter Nicole Ivankovich; her youngest daughter Suzane (Eric) Bowie; her grandchildren Hayden, Colton, Kiyan, Harper and Dre, along with her niece and nephew Faith and Dillon.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, September 16th, at Holy Family Church, 217 W Pennsylvania St, Anaconda, MT 59711. A committal ceremony will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, W 5th St. and Cottonwood St., Anaconda, MT 59711.

Always thought she was the cuttest little girl. Loved taking her and Cindy to the swimming pool when they would visit us in cando. I still have some pictures taken at that time. Had no ideal that aunt Bernie had passed on. RIP. GOD BLESS
