Rocky Lynn Seibel passed away on November 6, 2019 at the Community Hospital of Anaconda surrounded by family at the age of 67.
Rocky was born on August 24, 1952 in North Dakota to Elaine and Tex Seibel. The Seibel family moved to Anaconda, MT in 1954 where Rocky grew up and attended local schools.
Rocky worked at Nichols Ranch in Deer Lodge Valley for 20 plus years, delivered the Montana Standard for 20 years, and he also delivered the Anaconda Leader for several years. He was a truck driver for Swift for a couple of years. He missed his family and wanted to watch his grandkids grow up, so he gave up trucking. Rocky was an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved to tell stories about how Anaconda was while he was growing up. He spent many hours working in his own garden and loved being with his grandkids, that was his happy place.
Rocky and Jody have been together for about 35 years. Rocky has a daughter from a previous marriage, Marissa (Joey) Hernandez. He was the dad he didn’t have to be to son Sean and daughters Jessica, Kresta (Tyler), and Ivy.
He is survived by brother Faron (Tiffany) Seibel, sisters-in-law Amy (Jack) and Kassie, mother-in-law Kathy Campbell, grandchildren Kat, Zander, Cailey, Armando, Dreyko, and Nathan. A special little girl who called him papa Azlyn Killoy, and close friend Chuck Handsaker, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rhonda Shepherd, and father-in-law Dick Campbell.
