Robert ”Bob” Oscar Walker age 75
Left for Heaven on February 2nd 2021
Robert grew up in Butte Mt. and graduated high school before enlisting in the Navy.
Robert was a decorated Vet. of Vietnam where he was a photographer.
He loved photography and recycling he also enjoyed giving to anyone in need.
Bob was as stubborn as a mule, but that’s what made him so funny. Bobs generosity was enormous
to a fault, he wouldn’t take no as an answer if he felt you needed something and he was loved and appreciated for it. Bob leaves behind 3 sons Rian, Tobin and Micah also 8 grandchildren.
His name will be carried on by his remaining family and never forgotten.
A celebration of Bob’s life with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Stodden Park, 3150 Utah in Butte.

Bob and I were central wrestlers and he was good. What a good guy. He had that black wavey hair and was a good looking kid. Haven’t seen him in a while but I always like Bob. Rest in Peace

While uncle Bob and my dad helped build the family home on Thomas Street, that is when I first ran around a bit with Bobby; then, in high school that good looking stud who was a four year wrestling letterman.
One day in study hall he had a little kerfuffle with a well-known central tough guy (GM ) who well outweighed Bobby. G. M. Well, in front of a cobbel of students, Bobby took him down held him before brother Murray broke it up.
We lost track of each other for a while and reconnected briefly while Bobby was at big sky and I was somewhere over the rainbow. Now he is at home with uncle Bob and aunt Virginia where they can all intercede for us when we ask for a spiritual help. May Bobby’s soul and the soul of the faithful departed rest in peace. Love to all my cousins: Maryann, Billy, Danny, Elaine, Joey and Kenny.
Love forever – mean it.
Tom Stetzner.

We were lucky enough to do an interview with Bob at our local community radio station a while back. I’m sad to see he is gone now.

I knew Bob through another friend. He would never not, say hello to someone who knew him. I met him through a friend named “John Willard.” he always asked me if i needed anything. He said he founded a business called “Finders Keepers”. He had also asked me about our mutual friend “John Willard”. He was always kind and never said a bad word about anyone. This is the first i heard about his passing. I will miss chatting with him when I used to see him. He was a kind man that truly cared about how people where doing.

Bob was my neighbor in Polson back in the late 1970s. He bought the two story house him and his young family lived and moved it out to the country outside Ronan. I went to church with him at the New Life Cbristian Center in Polson. He was quite a character and a good friend. I hadn’t seen him since the early 1980s.
