Sorry for your family loss, Richard was a good friend of my family.

Patti Yasenak says
Rich was a very caring person. He was always helping people. When Darell and I were little, Rich and Geraldine babysat us while my mom and Dad were out, Rich would take us into his workshop in the back of his house on Porter Street and teach us to build stuff. We always had so much fun. One year for Halloween, he made me some stilts for my clown costume. As time went on, we grew up, living right across the street from our aunt and uncle. Rich taught me how to remodel my room from start to finish a few years ago.. Not one time in my whole life have I ever heard my uncle Rich ever raise his voice or say an unkind word. I will miss him. Rest in peace uncle Rich, I love you.

Geri and Paul, so sorry about your loss. Rich was indeed a good man.
I worked with Rich underground at the Leonard mine. He was a fun man to work with and always made work fun. I had the pleasure of working with Paul and his parents many years later when I was with Family Outreach.
Rich was a model for how we all should treat each other. I will miss you my friend, rest in peace.

To the loved ones of Richard Rader:
Although we did not have the privilege of knowing Brother Rader in this system, we sincerely hope to meet him under far better conditions to exist in paradise. (Rev. 21:4) We pray that Jehovah’s promises, which we know cannot fail, will support and strengthen each of you until reunited with him in the not-too-distant future. (Job 14:14,15; John 5:28,29 (a)).
With all of our love and heartfelt prayers,
The Guillory Family

Back in the day, my Uncle Dick Sample and Rich decided to go to San Francisco in my grandpa’s ’62 Oldsmobile Starfire to see the Monterey Rock Fest. Uncle Dick and Rich were wild and crazy hitting as many concerts along the way down & back having as much fun as they possibly could. Uncle Dick had the mouth that would get him in trouble and Rich was the tough guy who saved his hide every time. Rich was a great man and he will be missed. My name is J Sample I grew up on Kemper St. and was a good friend of Paul’s.
