Pat passed away at St. James hospital surrounded by the comfort of her family. She was born of Mary and Floyd Hixenbaugh on November 11, 1941 in Star Junction, PA.
She moved to Butte, MT when she was 13 years of age with her two sisters Sis Hixenbaugh and Aretta Seymour, along with her brother George Smith.
She had five children, her daughter Shonna Perino with her ex husband Dennis Wheat. She had 4 sons Mike and Louie Perino with her ex husband Lewis Perino, Shane Ball with her deceased husband Thomas Ball. In her later years she took on her grandson Zach Dinius adopting him to make him her 5th child she would raise in her lifetime. Along with having five kids she has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Being a pool shark she could make the person at the table regret challenging her, aside from this hobby she also loved to bowl and was just as great at this hobby as she was pool. There was nothing like a weekend with friends and family dancing to some good ole country music loving to jitterbug and walts she would be a star on the dance floor. She loved to smile and laugh bringing joy and light into the room.
Shorty after adopting Zach she was diagnosed with lupus in the blood already having the skin form of lupus, she began to develop underlying lung conditions life become a difficult for her in this period of time she fought so hard to keep her strength and faith in herself she became a huge inspiration and influencer to her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She would even be considered the best superhero any person could dream of having. On may 31, 2022 she contracted Covid needing hospitalization, she would beat the virus with high spirits to return home she developed Diverticulitis causing a lot of pain she decided to be let go and go out in confront to be set free from her body and mind on July 1, 2022 in comfort.
A special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at St. James Hospital for making sure she had the services and comfort she deserved in her last moments of her beautiful life.

Pat and I became good friends when she was manager at the Bozeman Salvation Army and I was a volunteer. She had such a good relationship with Zach and was so proud of him. Condolences to the rest of her family, she was a great lady!
