McKenna (“Kenna”) Lynn Lewis, 26, of Butte, found peace on November 12, 2021.
McKenna was born in Butte, MT, March 20th, 1995, to Shawn and Brandi Lewis. She attended local schools and graduated from Butte High in 2013. McKenna was the first born of three beautiful girls. Her sisters, with whom she shared a special bond, were so important to her.
McKenna worked as a waitress for many years, a job which she truly enjoyed. She was a very caring and giving person and her presence would always light up a room. When McKenna was little, she found her love of flowers and gardening through the teachings of her loving neighbor, John Spellman. The next time you are enjoying the beauty of flowers, please think of our beautiful Kenna.
McKenna had many fond memories, such as attending concerts, watching baseball with her Dad, watching Steeler’s games with her Mom and Sisters, and attending Wednesday night dinners at Mamo and Papa’s. McKenna found great joy doing crafts and reading books to her two beautiful babies, MaKayo and Malayzia, who were the light of her life. McKenna loved to take pictures of nature and her family, especially her children. McKenna had a very special relationship with her grandmother (Gaga), who was a second mom and always there for her.
McKenna is proceeded in death by her grandparents, Ken and Ruth West, Glenn and Rosalie Lewis, Tony and Laura Salle, and Frank and Delores Smith.
McKenna is survived by her two precious babies MaKayo and Malayzia, mother Brandi Lewis, father and stepmom Shawn and Charissa Lewis, sisters Ashlyn and Brylee Lewis, step brother RJ Romine. Grandparents: Donna Pierce, Dan and Becky Chladek, John and Rhonda Lewis. Aunt/Uncles: Misty Mullenberg (Derek), Seith Lewis (Melissa), Shay Lewis (Christine). Cousins: Dirk Haas, Bryson and Brandon Goldsberry, Ethan, Emily, and Eli Lewis, Sophia, Cale, and Miles Lewis, and numerous great aunts and uncles, extended family, and friends who McKenna loved dearly.
Our beloved McKenna’s legacy will continue with her selfless gift of life to many through organ donation.
In lieu of flowers, donations in McKenna’s name may be made to the ‘MaKayo and Malayzia Angel Fund’ at Southwest Montana Federal Credit Union.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
The family of McKenna Lewis wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the ICU staff, spiritual team, and donor committee at St. James Hospital, as well as Pastor Sarah from Gloria Dei Church.
