Renee Bolton, age 79, of Butte, passed away on October 13th, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Butte to John and Vonnie Baird. Renee married her high school sweetheart, Danny Bolton, in 1965, at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church. Their son, Danny, and daughter, Keri, followed. Renee welcomed her granddaughter, Sierra, in 2006. Sierra is her pride and joy!
Renee was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her children and granddaughter; and the Bolton family: Chuck and Darlene, Mickey and Vonnie, Tim and Judy, Annette, John Price and the Ward family of San Diego as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Renee was proud to be born and raised in Butte. She attended Whittier Elementary, East Middle School, and then graduated from BHS in 1961. Renee worked in the Medical Records field and was a manager at Copper Ridge where she made many lifelong friends.
Renee was so proud of her granddaughter, Sierra, and enjoyed spending time watching her and her horse, Vinnie, perform. Renee has two Golden Retrievers, Cooper, and Dakota, that she loved and adored.
She was an avid dart player, proud campfire girl, and a long time Notre Dame and San Diego Chargers fan. She loved spending time in the mountains camping with her family and friends.
Family was everything to Renee and she was everything to them. She will be greatly missed by all, but we know she is sitting by a campfire enjoying a camel and ice cold Budweiser in Heaven.
Visitation will begin at 10 am on Friday, October 21, 2022, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 2100 Farragut, Butte, Montana 59701. A funeral mass will follow at 11 am at the church. Following Mass, Rite of Committal will take place at Saint Patrick’s Cemetery in Butte on S. Montana St.
Memorials in are honor of Renee are suggested to Chelsea Bailey Animal Shelter.
