Mary Louise Zecco February 1937 – October 7, 2023
Mary passed to heaven at the age of 86 to meet her parents James and Frances Zecco.
She was one of 12 children from an Italian family in Shinnston WV. Mary spent her life as a mother, a baker, and a cook. During her younger years while working in a movie theater she decided she wanted to be a movie star! Everyone that knew her knew she was full of spunk and fire. Later she married George Robert Boggess and they moved to Butte, Montana where she lived her life as a mother running kids and friends to and from school. She never lost her wittiness and spunk until her last day. She loved to travel, take long rides and gardening. She especially loved planting sunflowers growing big enough to land a photo in the local paper.
She is survived by her sister, Helen and George Toothman; many nieces and nephews, her children, Cheryl and James Madison, Lisa Boggess, Larry, and David Boggess. Mary also had 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Mary always had a big heart wanting to for other at the Copper Ridge Nursing Home during her stay there. She will be sadly missed and has left us with many good memories.
Services for her will be at the Unity Church, 300 S. Montana St., Butte, Montana, Saturday October 21st at 11 a.m.
