Marlee Kay Gustavsen, 77, Butte, MT, passed away on October 27, 2019. Marlee was born to Edward and Inez (Brock) Braunstadter in Billings, MT on January 27, 1942. She graduated from Butte High School in 1960. Marlee then met and married Clifford L. Gustavsen on July 18, 1975.
Marlee worked as a secretary for many places in Butte, including Hennessey’s, Freeway, Safeway Office, Rocky Mountain Clinic, and then retired from Lady of the Rockies. She enjoyed ceramics and homemaking.
She is survived by her loving husband, Clifford, her children, Stacie Carmichael, Chuck (Kari) Carmichael, Mike (Sue) Gustavsen, John (Linda) Gustavsen, Robert (Shelley) Gustavsen, Ken (Bernie) Gustavsen, Sharon Erickson, and Nancy (Tom) Sharkey, siblings, Marcia and Mike Doto and Cheryl Nelson, nephew Ross, 25 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
Marlee is proceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law Leila and Lyman Leppanen, sister, Karen, daughter, Debbie Gold, son Rusty Gustavsen, granddaughter, Christina Gustavsen, nephew, Edward Leppanen, grandson, Timothy Crumpton.
No services are planned at this time. A reception will be held in Marlee’s honor at Uno’s Lounge, 3235 Harrison Ave # 1 on November 2, 2019 at 3 p.m.
Donations can be made in Marlee’s honor to the Lady of the Rockies.
