On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, Marjorie Kaye Storey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends at the age of 64, at St. James Healthcare. Marjorie “Margie” was born in Butte, Montana on September 23, 1958 to join her sister and two brothers.
On September 23, 1978, on Marjorie’s birthday, Margie and Mike Kent were married. They later divorced.
Margie never had children but really loved her furry girls. She took extremely good care of her papillons, brushing their teeth and taking care of their every need.
Margie was a wonderful caretaker of her parents. If you saw Mom, Margie wasn’t far behind. Margie was a great bowler even though she’d throw the bowling ball halfway down the lane before landing but a strike was sure to come.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and Maynard “Bud” Storey, and niece, Kimberly Anne MacDonald. She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Darrel and Cheryl Storey, John and Mary Storey, and sister and brother-in-law, Coleen and Jeff LeFever, as well as her boyfriend of over 35 years, Kenny Burright, all of Butte. Surviving nieces and nephews are Darrel and Gina Storey, Jonnie and Kris Doran, Greg Storey, Jordan and Whitney LeFever (Kalispell), Tom Lloyd (Pocatello), Jessica and Andy Diric (San Antonio) and Jocelyn and Drew Taylor (Colorado Springs) as well as many loving great nieces and nephews.
Her memory is now my keepsake,
With which I’ll never part,
God has her in his keeping,
I have her in my heart.
We love you Margie! See ya later!
