Born Marcia Kay Rogers to Calvin L. and Madonna M. (Burch) Rogers on July 16, 1951 in Townsend, Montana.
Marcia had one sibling, her sister, Laurel A. (Rogers) Pidgeon. She grew up on several different ranches across Montana and even spent some time in Salem, Oregon while her father built houses. In her adult life, Marcia was a Liscensed Practical Nurse. She spent a large part of her career at St. James Healthcare in Butte. In later years, she became a traveling nurse working in nursing homes across the state before retiring.
Marcia married the love of her life, Ronnie L. Cleland, on June 16, 1973. Together they raised two children, Kimberly S. (Rogers) Franzen and Elton L. Cleland.
Marcia is preceeded in death by her husband, both of her parents, her sister and her grandson, Isiah Peter Matt. She is survived by her son, Elton (Tashina) Cleland; daughter Kimberly (John) Franzen; Grandchildren Cassie (Barb) LaTray, Joe Franzen, Christine Franzen, Allie Franzen, Ronnie L. Cleland II, Larissa S. Matt, and Aspen D. Cleland & Great Grandchildren Isiah Whitener, Lucas Cuyle, Abrianna Matt, Finley Tarkalson, Kennady Tarkalson as well as extended family too numerous to mention by name.
In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
