Linda Tarkalson passed away on August 8, 2022. Earth lost an angel and heaven gained one. Linda married Gary Tarkalson on January 6, 1962. Together they had two children and were married 60 years.
Linda loved the outdoors. Hunting, camping, bird watching, and looking up her mountain and watching animals and birds that visited.
Linda loved her collections anything with an elk on it, barbies, head vases, and prints of wildlife. Mostly Linda loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Linda loved all her family and everyone was always welcome to Gary and Linda’s home. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tom Billteen. She is survived by her husband, Gary Tarkalson, her children, Debbie Fouts and Dave Tarkalson, her grandchildren, Chris Fouts, Kasey Fortune, Noel Medicine Cloud Kao, Becca Tarkalson, step-grandchildren, Jamie Fouts, Dan Fouts, great-grandchildren, Liam, Kayden, Ryker, Vera, Kieran, Destiny, and Jordan.
A Celebration of Life, organized privately by the family, will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary and Linda’s home.

Linda was a wonderful sister-in-law. Loved talking to her on the phone about her birds, deer, fox, and flowers . It was very enjoyable. Coming to visit the family was always fun and Linda made the visit special. Always very kind and loved everyone. She has been a member of the family for a long time and she will be greatly missed.
