In Memory Of

Linda J Glase, 65, Butte, MT

October 27, 1953 – October 23, 2019

Linda Glase passed away on October 23, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on October 27, 1953 to Joseph and Marian (Simonich) Wagner.

Linda attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School and graduated from Butte High School in 1971.  Shortly after graduation, she married “The Boy Next Door”, Walter Glase. They celebrated 48 years of marriage in June.

Linda began working at the Bonanza Freeze at an early age. After many years of loyal service, she retired due to poor health.

She is survived by her husband, Walter, their daughter Kimberly (Denver) Yoder of Pennsylvania & their son Dylan. Their son Joseph Glase of Pennsylvania & his sons Jackson and Colin. Her family was the pride of her life.

Also surviving are her three sisters, Mary Kay (Dave) McGinnis of Butte. Bonnie (Frank) Shone of Helena, and Shirley (Tom) Gollinger of Arizona. She also is survived by a niece, nephews and numerous extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her father and mother in-law.

Cremation has already taken place. A public service will not take place. A private burial will occur at a later time.

A special thanks for the care and compassion of Compassus Hospice, especially her nurse Diana, and to the Butte Oncology Department at St. James Hospital.

Donations may be made in Linda’s name to Compassus Hospice.

Please offer the family a condolence or to share a memory of Linda. Axelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been privileged to care for Linda and her family.
