Laura Virginia Albarran, of Butte, Montana, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2023 at the age of 94. Laura was born to Catarino and Irene (Garcia) Hernandez on May 30, 1929, in San Francisco, California.
Laura graduated high school and went on to own and operate La Cabana, a bakery, in San Francisco. Laura moved to Montana in 2006. She loved her Bitterroot mountains and loved the people and her neighbors.
Laura leaves behind her daughter, Irene Albarran; son, Marcus Albarran; stepson, Bernaldo Albarran; and brother, Jaime Hernandez.

I just found out that Ms Albarran passed away. My condolences to her family. I grew up in the Mission District in San Francisco with her son, Marcus. My mother Carmen Rosario and I would go to La Cabana yo get our tasty pastries. Ms Albarran was a friendly and high spirited person. May she rest in peace.
