Kurt Alvin Wonnacott, Age 58, of Butte

April 4, 1967 – June 5, 2025

Kurt Alvin Wonnacott, born on April 4, 1967, to Ronald and Bessie Kuuisto in Butte, Montana, passed away at his home in Butte. Kurt graduated from Butte High School in 1986. He traveled the country working various jobs before returning to Butte.

Kurt loved fishing, hunting, and camping with family and friends, and he adored his two cats, L.O. (Little One) and Lola.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Bessie and two brothers Keith and Monte. Kurt is survived by his sisters Keli (John) of Reno, Nevada, Karlene (Steve) of Butte, Montana; brothers Ken (Chelly) of Butte, Montana, Kevin/Joe (Mary) of Reno, Nevada, and Kyle of Butte, Montana; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Kurt, our beloved brother, uncle, and friend, will be missed but never forgotten.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm, on July 5, at Happy Endings Casino, 3878 Paxson Ave., Butte, MT 59701.

    I’ve worked many years with Kurt at Walmart. He was a wonderful guy. Always made you laugh. I’m so sorry to see he has passed. He was a hard worker and a good person to work with. He will be missed dearly. Prays go out to his family and friends.

    Kurt was a great human being. I had the pleasure of working with him at Wal Mart. He was a hard worker and a friend to all. When I seen him at his other jobs I made sure to stop and visit with him. He will be missed by many. RIP IN PEACE MY FRIEND !
