Joseph Ernest Medina, age 48, born February 8, 1974, died November 28, 2022, a lifelong Butte resident. Joe passed away after an extended illness, surrounded by his loving family.
He loved playing in the mountains and being with his family. He had a big heart, a crazy sense of humor, and the best laugh. He met many friends along the way. He loved them all
He is survived by his wife and son Monica and Kaden, parent Joe and Kitty Medina, brother David, Joni and family, beloved in-laws Frank and Barbara Peck and family, and many extended family members. Our hearts are sore. We will miss him.
We will have a celebration of life at the East Side Athletic Club on Sunday, Dec 11th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Service organized by the Medina family.

Prayers to Joe’s family and friends. I have known Joe and his family for many years. We Lived two houses away from his mom and dad and his brother David. Both David and Joe were my Niece’s and Nephew’s best friends. R.I.P. Joseph. You will be greatly missed by everyone.

Joey and I grew up together since we were 4yrs old. He was always the kindest person and would never have hurt a soul. We were always more like siblings than friends. We always had each other’s backs. I will never forget you brother.
