Skip was a great friend, later years could never seem to catch up with him when visiting Butte. Skip was fantastic at customizing model cars, taking the simple models and redesigning them, filling in, chopping, fine sanding and painting. Later on, he and Larry Varner were a pair. Rest easy, Buddy. – John Bowsher, Tucson, AZ

Joe (Skip) was a good friend in Jr High and High School. We had a few unusual experiences…rolling over a car on Empire St….,getting shot with rock salt while stealing lumber from the Anselmo Mine yard and a few other unmentionables!
Sorry we lost touch after high school..
