Joseph Edward Barron, Jr. 56, of Butte, Montana, died Tuesday, June 18, 2019. He was born in Fountain Hill on January 10, 1963 to the late Joseph Edward, Sr. and Gertrude (Sheridan) Barron. Joe was a member of Ebenezer New Reformed Church, Bingen. He worked as a Truck Driver and as a Carpenter in Germany for Dave Horvath. Joe lived in western Montana, God’s Majesty of the Crown of the Continent, known as Glacier National Park and Yellowstone. Joe came out to the Rockies at the age of 23 in 1986, to be a volunteer Park Ranger in the Bridger-Teton wilderness outside Jackson Hole, WY. He was asked if he would like to firefight in Montana, Idaho, Utah & Wyoming. That’s when he fell in LOVE with the Rockies and always wanted to retire there.

Children: Emily M. Barron, Colt “Buddy” Barron both of Allentown; siblings; Marie T. King of Hellertown, Steven E. (Christine) Barron of Atlanta, GA. Predeceased by siblings: Douglas J. Philip M. Barron and his dogs Bernie & Duke.
