John Swisher, age 53, of Butte, Montana, passed away on September 22, 2020.
John was born in Butte, mt on September 29,1966 to Joannie and Lyle swisher.
Throughout John’s life he brought many people joy and laughter. For anyone that knew John he was funny, creative and had a very colorful and quick wit. No one could tell you a story like he could. By the time he added his color, wit and personality to it you could visualize it and it usually ended up in laughter.
John was a man of many faces and facets to so many people. He had a big heart and cared deeply for his family and friends. He always made sure you felt loved and welcome when he saw you.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and BBQing with friends and family during the summers.
He always, as in life and also in death, left us with a smile and laughter in our hearts. He left a lot of memories and stories to re-tell in our circles to keep him near and dear. He was and will always be bigger than life.
He left behind his loving wife Lacey, his daughter Amanda (bubba), sons Ryan (big daddy)(Courtney), Sean(nipper) and Kyle(Clements) and step- daughter Allena. His 3 grand children Kennedy(biscuit), Jonathon and Elle. With a new granddaughter to be born in January (Aubree).
His brother Mike (Joannie) Swisher, sisters Kass Weeks and Lynn Rowen. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
His best friends Mike and Sue Strutzel. Tom and Amber Millay and so many others.
My life with John was one wonderful journey. I wouldn’t change a thing when I was with him. He was so many things to many people but to me he was my joy, my peace, my love of ages and most important, my constant.
He was preceded in death by his mom Joan, his dad Lyle and his brother Bob.
He will be sorely missed.

So sorry Lacey and family! So many funny stories…I can remember when you were running the Subways. After particular rough weekends, he would say “All is quiet now that it’s Monday, the basta*rds wore themselves out!” Haha
When we sold the stores and you went back to just manager of the Butte store for the new owner. Remember he was our driver that last night? He texted us when he came to pick us up. “Your chariot awaits my ladies”
You are strong and your Butte Spirit will shine through. You can do this. Thinking of all of you!
