World War II Veteran, John Pensam Jones, “JP” died Monday evening at his home surrounded by his family, at the age of 94. As the famous comedian, Alan King, said: John is “Survived by His Wife”, Judy. He is also survived by his two daughters, Carolyn and Elaine, four sons, Fred, Dave, Bill, and Aaron, sister Betty Lu Duffy, many grandchildren and extended family. Preceding him in death; son John P. JR, wife Helen, Wife Dorothy, brother Bill, parents William and Ila, many family members and many many friends. John received a full Military Honors Service this past Saturday with a very special thanks to our honor guard and veterans. A memorial stone will be placed in the Veterans Cemetery at Fort William Henry Harrison, where his younger brother, Bill Jones, a Korean War Veteran, is also memorialized.
