R.I.P John. I was good friends with his boys years ago. I will never forget John in our pick up basketball games. He would put on knee pads, goggles, even Vicks vapor gel under his nose, etc. Praying for your family John, see you at that next b ball game in the sky👍💯😇

You were two of the greatest people in the world to me, a grandfather and a father. There’s a reason my middle name was given to me because of you, as each day goes by I miss you more and more and truly wish I could of and would of done truly great things that you would of been so proud of but yet i didn’t, but you were always the one to remind me that’s not what lifes about and as long as I was a honest and good person there was nothing more that would make u happier. I love you so much pops and truly miss the sunny days where I put on my uniform and I played my heart out on the baseball field just to make u proud, I did succeed in that. Thanks for storing my 20+ home runs and balls from all the games I threw 15+ strike outs, I never could of done it without u. I would give anything to go back to those days. Hope your nice and cozy up there pops
