It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of John A. Fisher: husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. John passed peacefully on July 30th with his wife and children by his side.
As all those that ever knew him will attest, John was an incredibly humble man who we will remember as an amazing provider.
John is survived by Gwendolyn (Monroe), his wife of 60 amazing years, five children and their spouses: Jim Fisher (Gaylene), Pam Jeffery (John), John Mark Fisher (Robyn), Tammy Yelenich (Brian), Becky Fisk (Chris). Among Dad’s greatest blessings and what he treasured above all was his large and loving family that included 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren with another two on the way. John’s sister Shirley Harmon (Bob) and sister-in-law Sally Schaeffer survive him as do many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Among those preceding John in death were his parents Ralph and Grace Fisher, son Timothy Joseph and brothers James and Robert.
A special thank you to the Senior Solutions Hospice team and especially nurse Shamia whom our Father called his angel.
Honoring John’s wishes, a private family service has already taken place.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Butte’s Senior Solutions in hopes that others will be served as lovingly as he was.
