John Alexander Smith was born on October 19, 1947. He was born to Eugene Smith and Emma Jean Johnson in Los Angeles, California. John was called home to be with the Lord on May 17, 2023, in Butte, Montana. John was known for his colorful stories and jokes. He was an amazing husband, loving father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel Smith of Butte, MT, and daughters, Tanya Smith Miller and Sandra Smith of Bakersfield, CA.
John also leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Rosalie Manor, located at 1125 South Main Street, Butte, MT 59701. Date and time to be announced.
