STARS IN THE SKY ))))))))) by Ron McVan
A trillion stars, cross the heavens they shine, each star is a being, it’s a light divine, twinkling and flickering in a joyous glow, through constellations that come and go.
Every star that glimmers, that shines and shimmers, like endless eyes without a face, define the body and harmony of space! Distant heavens unravel, through the by and by, as we ponder in awe, in wonder and why. So tiny we are, in the void of forever, where man and gods and time weave together.
As we greet each day, with the morning sun, the moon brings the night, when the day is done. And the days turn to years, O how quickly they fly! Souls are yearning, all returning, to the stars in the sky!

You made life so happy to all those who knew you Jamie. Always a source of light and joy, in this very troubled world of humankind. Sail on now sweet Valkyrie! Sail on to Valhalla, across the Bifrost Bridge!
Ron McVan says
I had known Jamie for 20 years, and more genuine and truer friends like Jamie are rare indeed. Personally she was like the sister that I never had. Jamie, as a working mother on her own, raising two daughters, somehow found the spare time to edit close to all of the books that I had written. She had tremendous drive and determination, always honest, dependable, knowledgeable and a great sense of humor! She had a big warm and friendly heart to everyone who knew her and that also included her many pets and animals! When I look up now at the bright warming sun, or the stars in the sky, I will always think of Jamie, and know that she is looking down at us here below, who’s lives she had touched with her beautiful spirit! She was our personal Valkyrie! Until we all meet again in Valhalla, WE LOVE YOU JAMIE!

Jersey to me, my friend in so many ways, meeting when you first came to Butte looking for housing …. Growing into the close friendship we shared especially with our community concert season tickets and our Pool League competition as teammates against the teams who took the league so seriously…and like the others say too, you are missed. So blessed our paths crossed.

Mom, I miss you so much. Things will never be the same. I use to call you every single day and now I can never hear your voice again. This still feels like a nightmare that we aren’t waking up from. I’m still in shock. You are such a beautiful woman and you had such an amazing soul! Rest in peace mom! We all love and miss you very very much❤️❤️

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I remember her fondly, especially during our slumber parties in the basement on Berry Street.
May you find strength and comfort during this difficult transition in your lives. She will always be your very special guardian angel.

We will miss talking to Jamie over the backyard fence. She was sweet and had a nice personality. She was really easy to talk to and I loved her laugh. My dog Meeka will miss her. She liked to toss doggie cookies over the fence for her. One time she even asked if Meeka could have a knuckle bone. Meeka took the bone and instead of chewing on it she buried it last summer. I never got around to telling Jamie that she unburied the bone last spring and munched on it all summer long in the front yard. She always said hi to Meeka and she would tell me “she’s good”. She would say that about her granddaughter too “she’s good”. I know she sure loved that little girl. She was really good with our last dog too that died of cancer. Such a wonderful person.

The loss of a loved one is always heartbreaking , but losing my youngest sister and then my oldest sister in the same month has been devastating to our entire family. Jamie I love you and miss you and though we haven’t been in contact in a while I’ve always enjoyed reading of your accomplishments and personal growth. Till we meet again love Mike
