Jacob Hart passed from his life, unexpectedly, in his home in Butte, on November 28, 2023. Jake was born Oct 13, 1947, with his twin sister, KeithAnn, to Jacob Hart and Ann (Frederick) Hart, in Tacoma, WA. The Hart family moved to Butte when Jake was 3 years old. Jake attended Longfellow Elementary and later graduated from Butte High. Jake married Jeri Ronco on November 29, 1969, here in Butte. Soon after Jake joined the United States Air Force and served at Vandenberg Air Force Base in Lompoc, CA.
Jake and Jeri’s son, Jason, was born September 26, 1973. Following Jake’s military service the family returned to Butte. Jake was a business owner on Harrison Ave serving the people of Butte and surrounding area at Hart’s RV.
Jake was a member of the Kiwanis organization, Pioneer Street Rods, Butte Chamber of Commerce, Recreational Vehicle Industry Association, and volunteered time on the building of structures at the Spirit of Columbia Gardens Carousel.
Everyone who knew Jake benefitted from his knowledge and talents as a craftsmen at some time during their acquaintance.
Jake is survived by his wife, Jeri; son, Jason, and his wife, Dayla Hart; Jason’s children, Brennan and Gianna Hart; and Jake’s sister, KeithAnn (RJ) Trevithick. Jake is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Ann Hart.
A Celebration of Jake’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the Great Northern Depot (Butte Depot), 818 South Arizona, Butte.
