Georgie Pat was of my good buddies. We go way back to the Terminal Bar days, lots-a-fun. His Dad owned the Shamrock Bar across from the Metals Bank on Main Street. George had the key and we would sneak some beer from time-to-time. His Mom Marie was a great lady, sense of humor, and fun to be around. He had a wife, Cheryl and son “Blue”. Also called his truck “Blue”. RIP and thanks for the memories!!

I didn’t know George when growing up in Butte, we came from different neighborhoods, but upon returning to Butte in the early 80’s I met him while bartending at Maloney’s Bar. The friendship grew from there especially after some great road trips we shared. Semper Fi Marine and Rest In Peace.

George you were always a wonderful neighbor. We have lived next to you for almost 7 years now and I always used to do your sidewalks as I did my folks. You were always so quick to tell me not to and it was never a problem. You and my dad had many good conversations and in the past couple years had seen us struggle with health concerns as well as watch you go through them as well. Always a polite and nice man and we will miss all the good conversations with you. Thank you for serving our country as well. Fly high George Kelly
