Edward Victor Kamensky Jr. passed away on March 23rd, 2025.
He was born June 27th, 1946 in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Later in life, Ed worked in the mines in Butte and Idaho, then for Exxon in Wyoming. He ended his working years at Walmart with just under 15 years.
Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Edward V. Kamensky Sr., Josephine and Dimitri Nowikow; brother-in-law Timothy McMichael; sister-in-law Janet McLees; and ex-wife Linda Butler-Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen Kamensky; children, Eddie (Kim) Kamensky, Anne (Tony) Taylor, Jon Kamensky, and Chris Kamensky; step-sons Shane Ker and Shawn (Elvira) Ker; siblings, Sis (Bill) Dobb, Tammy (Chuck) Fournier, and Diane (Terri) Nowikow-Swanson; mother-in-law Lela McMichael; brothers-in-law Jim Ross, Phil (Eva) Ross, Steve (Roni) Ross, and Doug Ross; 17 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
We want to thank the staff at Copper Ridge Nursing Home for the care and compassion they showed Ed while he was in their care. Also, thanks to Axelson’s for their compassion for him and his family.
