Duane Cape, Age 76, of Butte

Duane H. Cape, 76 passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in Butte, Montana.

He was born April 1, 1944 in Great Falls, MT, to Willis Cecil Cape and Louise C. (Billadeau) Cape. Duane joined the U.S. Army in 1967. After serving in Vietnam as a Captain, he was discharged in 1970. He worked several jobs in Philipsburg, MT. His last job was working for the cemetery, which he enjoyed immensely.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Louise, sister, Donna Jean Nelson Robison and brother, Gary C. Cape.

Survivors include nieces and several special relatives and very dear friends.

Special thanks to Continental Care and Frontier Hospice in Butte for his care. As per Duane’s wishes, he wanted no funeral or military service.
