Donna Maxine Weiss was born in Bakersfield, CA on September 17, 1942. She died suddenly in Butte MT, on August 15, 2019. She lived her life for others, as a Mom, Wife, Registered Nurse, military Veteran, and a community volunteer.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marie (Abbott) Babcock, and beloved husband, Bertram M Weiss. She is survived by her children, Heatherlynn (Chris) Meeks, and Christopher (Hollie) Jarman, and her brothers, Ralph (MaryAnn), Richard (Linda), David (Ricky), and Dennis Babcock. Additionally, she is survived by her twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved being the GG.
Services will be held at Gold Hill Lutheran Church, 934 Placer St on Wednesday, August 28, at 10:30a. A luncheon and celebration of life will follow immediately after the service. Interment will be at 4pm at the Ft. Harrison Veterans Cemetery. Please wear Bright colors to celebrate Donna’s vibrant life with us. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gold Hill ELCA for VBS/Camperships.
