In Memory Of

Donald F. “Skeet” Franklin Heinze, Age 67, of Butte

August 19, 1954 – January 20, 2022

Donald F. “Skeet” Heinze, age 67, of Butte, Montana, passed away on January 20, 2022. Skeet was born on August 19, 1954, in Morgantown, WV, to George and Mary Heinze. He worked with Treasure State Professional Window Washing in Butte for many years as well as Pozzi Windows in Bend, Oregon. Skeet retired from Town Pump in Butte and Rocker where he was a maintenance manager. As he would say, Donald was a man of “technolg”.

Skeet loved hunting, fishing, western shows, football, and being with his family. He enjoyed being a husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He also enjoyed spending most nights around the family table playing poker and taking everyone’s money. He was a man that would do anything for anyone at any time. “Bunches, always & forever!”

Skeet is survived by his wife, Fiina Heinze; children, Donald Heinze, Jennifer Heinze, PJ Gustavsen, Viv Gustavsen, and Chris Chevalier; grandchildren, Syliese Gustavsen, Ellianna Heinze, Chadrick Heinze, Jackson Heinze, and Zoey Mitchell; brothers and sisters, Bud Heinze, Tate (Jean) Heinze, Beaner (Al) Baldwin, and Barb Baker; and brothers and sisters in-law, Chip (Debbie Ouellette) Freeman, Ed (Robin) Freeman, Jim (Donna) Freeman, Gayla “Sis” (Ken) Sanders, and Lorrie Tracy.

I’ll never forget when we were in the hospital at the same time. Uncle Skeet said, I hear your pooper isn’t working. I started laughing so hard. Nurse said, do you know him. I said, yes he’s my uncle. He always made me laugh so hard. I will miss him so very much. I love you so big

Skeet, was a great person. Always playing round telling stories about beatles and things. He’ll be missed and always apart of us. So if you see me giggling from time to time it’s because I remembered Skeet. Love you Skeet
