Donald “Nick” Nicholson, 91
Nick was born in Rugby, North Dakota to Albin and Edna Nicholson on July 23, 1927. He passed away on July 22nd, 2019 one day before his 92nd birthday.
He moved from Knox, ND to Butte, MT in 1950. He met Macy Manley in1962 and they married on November 22, 1963.
He worked as a concrete truck driver as a teamster for many years until a disability forced him to retire. He loved to fish in his younger days and loved playing Video poker most recently at Lenny’s casino in Butte. He looked forward to his son Jim bringing him his 3 scratch tickets every day and his daily visits from his wife.
He is survived by his loving wife Macy, His son and daughter in law Jim and Kim Nicholson, His granddaughter and her husband Brittany and Kenny Parmely and their children Kyra, Kiennah and Kai. Several sister in laws and nieces and nephews.
Our family would like to thank Copper Ridge Health and Rehab and Frontier Hospice for all the great care and compassion they showed Nick and our family
