In Memory Of

Delois “Dee” Clarice Black, Age 92, of Butte

November 5, 1931 – March 25, 2024

Grandma Dee fell down and hurt herself. One of her dogs got under her feet and tripped her. My Aunt Linda put her in the hospital where she could be taken care of. The last night of her life she fell asleep and in her sleep her spirit went to heaven. When she got to heaven Jesus met her and she was so happy to be home in heaven with no more pain or sorrow. When Jesus saw her he said, “ well done good and faithful servant.” Her life on earth was one of extreme suffering. She lost two of her children to death, Stephen, and Robert. The scripture says that the pain and suffering we endure on earth will become glory in heaven. Grandma Dee was so happy to see Jesus finally. They talked for a few minutes. He welcomed her to heaven and told her that her sons were waiting for her. A few minutes later Stephen and Robert were led into were led into where she was, and Jesus were by angels. She started to rejoice and ran to embrace both of them. She hugged on them, kissed each of them and Robert said, “welcome home mom.” Stephen said we have been waiting for you. Jesus spoke up and said “heaven will be your permanent home. There is not death or pain here. The war with satan won’t affect you anymore. My death on the cross has paid the price for you forever. “ Dee said thank you so much for paying the price for my sins and bringing me home safely. Stephen said, “ Look mom I’m not paralyzed anymore.” He did a little dance and laughed about the pain of earth being over with. An angel walked up and said to her, “come with me and I will take you to your place of permanent residence that has been prepared for you.” They started off to the new home she had in heaven. Robert and Stephen walked with her rejoicing and laughing with the angel leading.

There will be a graveside service with military honors at 2:30p.m. on Friday, April 12 at Montana State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Harrison in Helena, Montana.
