Debbie, your pain and suffering is over! And for that we are Thankful! She would not want us to be sad – but rather happy! So, I am wearing bright colors and Flip Flops – she always wore them, even if it was -50.
She enjoyed traveling to New York, San Deigo, Seattle, trips with Ron to see her in-laws, step children and Grandkids and her final journey to the Kentucky Derby. Griz games were always a delight for her. Especially the Cat/Griz game – Griz won – sorry Bob – NOT! She loved bowling and her Team! Going to Dinner, Musicals, and dressing up for Halloween with them. She looked forward to Monday nights!
If there was a baby around, watch out! She would hog cuddling them! Her fur babies mean the world to her. As did her step kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, brothers, cousins and all the kids she watched over the years. She always put others before herself. She took care of all of us! I am sure each of us has an Afghan, diamond picture, picture comforter, or other handmade item that she made for us. We will miss your pasties, wontons, cheese cake, snicker salad, cheeseburger egg rolls and ribs!
I have one more thing to say – NIPPLE, NIPPLE, NIPPLE! We all know she is cringing and would like to kick my ass, but I could not resist!
Rest in peace Debbie! We love you!

Debbie showed great compassion to others during their time of needing support. I so appreciated our new found friendship the last 2 years of her delightful and insightful presence. I truly wished it had been for a longer time to really know her long distance.
She was so excited she was able to go to the Kentucky Derby. I know her family gave her outstanding support during her life’s journey…she was blessed.

Debbie was a very special person. Always happy and always had a reason to smile. She took care of everyone including making sure there were always flowers on all the family members graves. Last time I talked to Debbie she was telling me how much she loved to bowl and how she loved her bowling ladies and I am so glad that she sent me the picture of her bowling ladies, which I posted for everyone to enjoy. Debbie was my cousin, you will never be forgotten until we meet again.
